Child Safety Standards

Child Safety Standards

Carisma (developer: Carisma Dating) is an app for adults aged 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any sexualisation of minors.

Last updated: 14 October 2026

Our standards

  • Carisma is for adults only. Everyone must give a date of birth at sign-up, and the account is refused if the person is under 18.
  • We prohibit any content or behaviour that sexualises, endangers or exploits a minor. Accounts belonging to anyone under 18 are removed, and so are accounts that sexualise minors in any way — without warning.
  • Profile photos, chat photos and videos are automatically checked before they are shown; flagged content is held for review by our team.

How to report

  • In the app: open the profile or conversation, tap ⋯ → Report, and choose Suspected minor (or the reason that fits). Reports are private and prioritised.
  • By email: [email protected].

What we do

  • We review reports of suspected minors and child exploitation with the highest priority.
  • We remove offending content and accounts, and preserve evidence as the law requires.
  • We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant national authority, and cooperate with law enforcement.

Compliance

We comply with applicable child-safety laws in the countries where Carisma is available.
